I bet that held up GOOOD.

What to do so it doesn't grenade?

Dont worry about using more than 1 can of brake cleaner on the thing.  You dont even need to use that.  Just wipe the gears with a rag.  Good enough.

Take the c-clips off your stub shafts and jam them all the way in.

MELT the spider gears together then run multiple beads connecting the spider gears to the housing and then to eachother AGAIN.   Go at it for about 5-10 minutes with a wire brush or a small pick to remove boogers and slag.   Use the other half of the can of brake cleaner to get most of the junk out.

There.  It's done.

This guy did step 1.   That is the WEAKEST shit i've ever seen.

that was the most lenthy way to do it in the zilvia thread......  my rx-7 has third member rear end like a 9" ford so i had to pull rear end and take out third member, but i had it welded and back together in like 5 mins, i just wiped off excess oil...mostly to keep from a fire..haha          shit on a 240 or cressida just put it on jack stands in da rear, pull the cover and spark, RTV and slide!

Lol.

I think if anything that will fuck up the ring and pinion.

I think for trolling purposes, somebody should do this and post it on zilvia.

Slap some jb weld on your spider gears!  LMAO!
